Over 80 BFD firefighters and guests were in attendance for the Annual Awards Banquet held Saturday night at the Bedford Welcome Center. Members and guests enjoyed a dinner catered by the Ole Liberty Station before moving into the conference room for the awards ceremony. This years Firefighter of the Year award went to Assistant Chief Russell Stevens and the Prob FF of the Year went to Firefighter Stacey "Cookie" Wills. Other personnel receiving unit citations were FF/PM Curtis Marshall (Victim Save Award), FF/EMT-I John Gulatsi (EMS LifeSaving Award), FF/EMT-I Stephen Curry (EMS LifeSaving Award), FF/EMT Kevin Musgrove (EMS LifeSaving Award), and Roc Moore (EMS LifeSaving Award).
